Reiki can be defined as, Universal life force energy, Spiritually guided life force energy, Soul energy. 

This flow of life force energy facilitates healing of the body, mind and spirit. This “laying on of hands” healing art was developed by Mikao Usui in 1922.  Similar healing practices have been in existence for thousands of years but the energy we happen to call Reiki, has always existed. Reiki practitioners have been attuned to this powerful universal healing force and allow this energy to channel through them as they offer Reiki healing to others as well as to themselves.   Reiki can do no harm.  It is always offered with great love and for the highest good of the recipient.
